My Favorite Reads of 2021

During quarantine I shared some of my favorite books that have helped me get through that uncertain season, and today I’m sharing my very favorites from the whole year.

As I head into a little break from the normal routine. The collection below represents the best books of 2021 from my personal reading list this year.

I dove into 2021 with a pile of books and an ambitious reading plan. I usually read multiple books throughout the first half of the year. I’m glad I started the year diving into the wisdom of others because I sure needed it as 2021 unfolded.

Girl, Wash Your Face: Stop Believing the Lie
About Who You Are So You Can Become Who You Are
Meant to Be

by Rachel Hollis

This is a must-read by one of my favorite teachers and is a call-to-action to all women to drop the fear that holds them back and to do whatever it takes to get real and become the joyous, confident woman you were meant to be. Because you really can live with passion and hustle – and give yourself grace without giving up.

The 48 Laws of Power

by Robert Greene

Robert Greene and Joost Elffers have distilled three thousand years of the history of power into 48 essential laws by drawing from the philosophies of Machiavelli, Sun Tzu, and Carl Von Clausewitz. Some laws teach the need for prudence, others teach the value of confidence, and many recommend absolute self-preservation.

Mirror Work: 21 Days to Heal Your Life
by Louise Hay

Life Is Really Very Simple. What We Give Out, We Get Back What we think about ourselves becomes the truth for us. I believe that everyone, myself included, is responsible for everything in our lives, the best and the worst. Every thought we think is creating our future. Each one of us creates our experiences by our thoughts and our feelings. The thoughts we think and the words we speak create our experiences.”

Act Like a Success, Think Like a Success
by Steve Harvey

Learn how to achieve your dreams using the gift you already have. Every one of us was born with a gift endowed by our creator – something you do the best at with very little effort. While it can be like someone else’s, your gift is yours alone. No one can take it away.
You are the only one who can use it – or waste it.
